Ioannis Gerhard Paul is a Greek-German Composer born in 1987. He studied Composition with Dimitri Papageorgiou at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Bachelor Degree) and with Johannes Schöllhorn (Master’s Degree) in the University of Music Cologne and in the University of Music Freiburg.
He was accepted as an active participant in various Masterclasses like Kiev Contemporary Musik days 2017, Impuls Academy 2017 and 2019, Mixtur 2018, with Pieluigi Billone, Μark Andre, Simon Steen-Andersen and Stefan Prins among others. His works have been performed in Austria, Germany, Greece, Iran, Italy, Ukraine, Spain and Japan.
